Delete my data
You can ask us to delete your Homsies account, and any data linked to a Facebook Page or Instagram account you connected to Homsies. Fill in the form below, or email admin@homsies.com. You do not need an account to make a request.
What gets deleted
- Your Homsies account and sign-in details.
- Your properties and everything attached to them: bookings, cleaning and linen records, guidebook and recommendation content, upsells, rate history and income reports.
- Your income audit submission and any enquiry forms you sent us.
- All Facebook and Instagram data: the stored Page identifier and name, the Instagram account identifier and username, the access token, drafted and scheduled posts, uploaded images and videos, and the performance figures we recorded for posts Homsies published.
- Support messages and email records tied to your address.
Deleting your Homsies data does not delete posts already published on your own Facebook Page or Instagram account — those belong to you and you can remove them from those apps.
What we may need to keep
- Invoices, payment records and tax records, which law requires us to keep for up to 7 years.
- A record of your deletion request itself, so we can show we handled it correctly.
- Your email on a suppression list, if you asked not to be contacted, so we don't email you again by mistake.
- Anonymous, aggregated statistics that can no longer identify you or your property.
What happens next
- We email the address you gave us to confirm the request came from you.
- Once confirmed, we revoke any connected Facebook or Instagram access immediately.
- We delete the data within 30 days, and from backups within a further 30 days.
- We email you to confirm the deletion is complete.
Removing Homsies from Facebook yourself
On Facebook, go to Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites (or Business Integrations), find Homsies and choose Remove. This immediately revokes our access to your Page and Instagram account. To also delete the data we already hold, send the form above.
